it has been a very busy year at crafted studio. we have lots of projects in the pipeline including residential extensions, interior renovations, commercial fit-outs and a very special new build. watch this space.
designed as a multi-functional hub, this kitchen transformed the interior of an ex-state house from small and bland to open and vibrant. it was selected as NZ House & Garden Interior of the Year Award 2014 Supreme Winner, as well as winner of the Best Kitchen category. the project featured on the cover of the November 2014 edition of the magazine.
this nine storey, 55 apartment mixed use development in Melbourne was designed and documented for consent in collaboration with BG Architecture who are based in Melbourne, Australia.

as house and land prices continue to climb, more and more people are looking to make the most of what they already have by extending. this 180m² extension to an existing home on a rural site is designed to suit a multigenerational family living under one roof. construction is due to be completed by the end of 2015. photos coming soon.
this minor dwelling was designed to meet the needs of a retired couple who were downsizing. it was designed and constructed so that it can easily be relocated. at some point in the future it will be moved close to the beach and re-invented as a family bach with the addition of another bedroom pod.
